Lecture Title: Do you know what’s good for you? How to make decisions for your future self

In this taster lecture, we will look at the argument that we often do not know what will be good for us when it comes to making the most important decisions of our lives. The reason for this is that transformative experiences (e.g. having a baby, going to university) can change our fundamental values, meaning we often do not know what will be good for our future selves. We will highlight some ways of responding to this problem.
