Unlock your imagination and explore an array of creative hands-on workshops delivered by academics, current students, recent graduates and industry specialists in subjects including games design and development, film, graphic design, illustration, animation, digital media and more.

Whether you're a budding artist or a tech enthusiast, our Summer School offers the perfect platform to cultivate your talents, expand your creative skill set, and gain an insight into different creative and digital pathways using state of the art facilities and software including AR (augmented reality) and more.

Other workshops include social media for creative use, building creative resilience and insight from recent graduates into creative entrepreneurship. The programme ends with a tutorial session on how to present the work you have produced and give you the skills needed to develop a portfolio for application to university

Sessions take place at our central London campuses over 3 days and are completely FREE.

Applications are open to all Year 11 and Year 12 students, but preference will be given to students meeting one or more of our widening participation criteria. These criteria aim to provide opportunities for students currently underrepresented in higher education and in the creative and digital industry sectors. 

Apply today and we will contact you the week of Monday 3rd June 2024 to let you know whether your application was successful.

All meals are provided for the duration of the programme (residential and non-residential) and travel will be paid for. Attendees are expected to commit to one of the following programme options:

  • 3 day Residential Programme, Monday 29th July – Wednesday 31st July
  • 3 day Residential Programme, Wednesday 31st July – Friday 2nd August
  • 3 day Non-Residential Programme, Monday 29th July – Wednesday 31st July
  • 3 day Non-Residential Programme, Wednesday 31st July – Friday 2nd August

Residential options include accommodation in our Harrow Halls of residence, all students will have an ensuite room for the duration of their stay. For non-residential programmes; students will be provided with a travel card for the duration of the summer school. 

The majority of sessions will take place at our Harrow Campus but there may be some travel between our central London campus locations.
