Advancing Access supports with the delivery of the Russell Group Teachers' and Advisers' Conferences. The next conferences will take place in-person on 6th and 7th June 2024 at University of Warwick and Durham University respectively. Running from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

Event overview
These Conferences enable teachers and advisers to learn more about the Russell Group universities. Attendees will learn more about the experiences that their students will have at these universities and also the applications and admissions process.
The events enable teachers and advisers to support more of their students to progress to some of the UK's most competitive universities.
Please note, both events will follow the same programme. You are invited to attend one of the conferences - spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
The cost of these conferences are covered by the Russell Group, your admission to these events is free.
This year, Durham University is offering a free overnight stay which you can opt to take part in when completing the form. This will include a twilight session along with accommodation.
Twighlight event on 6th June:
· 17:00-17:15 Arrival and registration
· 17:15-18:00 Admission update and the Durham Collegiate System
· 18:00-19:00 Tour of Durham, led by current students
· 19:00-20:00 Drinks and canapes
Talk and drinks will be held in room PG21 on Palace Green, by Durham Castle and Cathedral.
Overnight accommodation is available at the Travelodge, 9 Station Ln, Durham DH1 1LJ. There is limited free parking at the Travelodge. It is within walking distance of the city centre and only 16 minutes walk to palace green. To get to the Teaching and Learning Centre the next day it’s a 25 minute walk, 5 minute taxi or you can take a bus.
