This online taster session will give you an insight into what it's like to study Education at university. You'll have the chance to hear from one of our academics, participate in a taster lecture and engage with current undergraduates.
Children and Digital Cultures: explorations through student filmmaking
Will children still use pens in 2050? Are children 'media savvy' or 'media victims' - or both? How does digital technology impact family life? These are just some of the questions explored through our second year BA Education, Culture and Childhood module, 'Children and Digital Cultures'. In this talk, you will hear from Dr Ryan Bramley, one of the module co-leads, on how our current undergraduate students are using creative filmmaking techniques to explore key issues around children and their participation in digital cultures.
