Teachers and Advisers Day 2024

City, University of London's Teachers and Advisers Day 2024 will offer upskilling opportunities to teachers and advisers who support sixth form/college students in preparing for their future. The event will also provide information on City-specific opportunities and processes which can be used to help facilitate discussions with students when exploring their options.The event will run from 9:30am to 1:30pm with an optional talk after lunch. You can find a provisional schedule below.

9.45am - 11am  Adviser Upskill Session – Careers session for careers advisers. Including panel with current students/other careers staff 

11am – 11.15am Break

11.15 - 11.35am Admissions panel (Central, Bayes, SHPS) 
 
11.35 - 11.55am How to work with teams at City

11.55am - 12.40pm Lunch & Drop Ins (joined by City staff)
 
12.40 - 1.30pm Adviser Upskill Session – Student Finance 
 
1.30pm - 2.30pm Personal Statements & References (optional for anyone who wants to stay)
