Full event details

The Insight into Apprenticeships course will give year 12 students all the information and contacts that they need to help access a STEM apprenticeship.

This extra-curricular course mixes both virtual and face-to-face activities to inform and connect students to apprenticeship opportunities in their local area.  The guided course launches in January 24 and runs through to July 24,  with students completing around 30 hours of engagement during this time.

Course Outcomes

Equipping students with relevant careers skills and knowledge

Experience real-world application of STEM subjects

Get exposed to STEM careers to enable students to make informed decisions about their future

Speak with and feel inspired by apprentices/STEM professionals about their experiences

Develop valuable skills, such as time management, team-building & social skills, and see how they can be applied to their CV, Application Form or Personal Statement

Become a Silver Industrial Cadet

Facilitate students’ transition into successful apprenticeships and careers
