Train to Teach Open Evening

This event is for anyone interested in one of our undergraduate or postgraduate teacher training courses. 

The University of Sunderland has a long and proven track record of high-quality teaching and support, training the next generation of teachers. This event will go over the routes into teaching, and our academic teaching staff will talk through our teacher training degree courses.

Attendees will have the chance to:

• Take part in an engaging taster session
• Attend tailored talks on the different teacher training routes and funding available
• Speak to teaching experts to receive one-to-one advice on your training options
• Talk to practicing teachers about life in the classroom
• Talk to current students about what life on a teacher training course is really like
• Meet representatives from our partner schools who deliver school direct teacher training throughout the region
• Speak about postgraduate options to develop existing careers in Education
• Learn more about the admissions and application process.
