Your students will be introduced to the career of Operating Department Practitioner. If your students are wanting to work in a theatre, get involved in surgery, maybe considering medicine, then ODP should be a career path they should look at in more detail.
Are your students interested in learning more about what happens in an operating theatre; and the vital part the operating department practitioner plays during surgical procedures? Come along and see our state-of-the art mock theatre to experience the environment of an operating theatre first hand and practice some of the skills registered ODPs use on a daily basis; such as gowning and gloving, airway management and try your hand at laparoscopic surgical skills.
