Understand the role that the media may play in the representation of such areas like the custody suite, the online space, and the sex industry and people within them. Reflect on how our streaming platforms are filled with ‘true crime’, docuseries and the latest celebrity court cases or ‘scandals’.

Critically think about fascinations around crime, criminality, and harm in the fictional space - many that are portrayals of real global cases. This event is for anyone who is considering studying Criminology at University level.
