We’re hugely excited to be running Girls into Geoscience Junior again this year. From magmas and minerals, to dinosaur diets, micro-meteorites and geological travels around the world; Year 8 and Year 9 (age 12-14) pupils can join us online from anywhere to discover the amazing things geoscientists get up to!
A free event where there will be an opportunity to access exclusive video content, a live experiment, taster lectures, practical activities and a live Q&A with current students and staff. Who can attend? Individuals who are aged 12 – 14 (UK Years 8 – 9) based in the UK or around the world are welcome to attend. No prior knowledge of geography and/or geology is necessary, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! As a school, you may also wish to organise as a group for an afterschool activity.
When and Where? Date: Tuesday 5th December 2023 Time: 15:45 – 18:00 Location: Online via Zoom Additional video resources will be available to access prior, from Tuesday 21st November 2023.
