Synopsis:

Historic objects give us a view into past worlds and prompt numerous questions. Where do they come from? What are they made from? What do they tell us about cultures in the past? Why are they there? Who might claim ownership of them? This Be Inspired event explores these questions and more from the perspective of Conservation, Philosophy, English and History. It will offer a view into the skills and techniques of different disciplines and demonstrate the value of a humanities degree, and its application in numerous careers.
