Short Session Delivered at your school/college
Recent events have brought to attention the crucial role which supply chains play in delivering food, medicines and vaccines to the public. Doing so at speed and lowest cost is a particular challenge which managers face. Through linking technology with forecasting, planning and operating the supply chain, the various benefits will be discussed. Technologies available today and for the future provide exciting opportunities to further develop and increase the sophistication of complex supply chains. The session will highlight some of the emerging technologies.
The Discover Programme consists of subject-specific lectures and workshops aimed at Year 12 or Year 1 college students, delivered by academics that teach at the University.
These sessions are designed to both complement the curriculum and introduce new subject areas.
