Short Session Delivered at your school/college
Operations management is everywhere, from Phone manufacturing by Apple to restaurant services by KFC. This is an introductory session for understanding how, for example, Volkswagen and KFC, reduce their costs, improve their quality and speed, and provide diverse products/services through excellence in their manufacturing/service process design, resources planning and control, and continuous development.
The Discover Programme consists of subject-specific lectures and workshops aimed at Year 12 or Year 1 college students, delivered by academics that teach at the University.
These sessions are designed to both complement the curriculum and introduce new subject areas.
