Full event details

This session aims to open and facilitate a discussion on the following questions: 1) Does the Russian Invasion constitute an International Crime? 2) How many international Crimes are there and are punishable by the existing legal framework? 3) Why do we need an International Criminal Court? Students are given a hands-on introduction to International Crime reasoning. The session is delivered through a short lecture and seminar-like group work, mirroring a true-to-life discovery of University level study.

The Discover Programme consists of subject-specific lectures and workshops aimed at Year 12 or Year 1 college students, delivered by academics that teach at the University.

These sessions are designed to both complement the curriculum and introduce new subject areas.
