Full event details

Fyre Festival looked like the perfect festival, with supermodels and influencers promoting it. What could go wrong?! Everything… from unrelenting rain to sleeping on the floor and being locked in an airport for hours, those that paid for this luxury festival got the exact opposite. Using multi media, such as Youtube , Instagram posts and other sources, students will explore the case like judges and lawyers, and consider if Fyre festival was an issue of misrepresentation or just a series of unfortunate events.

The Discover Programme consists of subject-specific lectures and workshops aimed at Year 12 or Year 1 college students, delivered by academics that teach at the University.

These sessions are designed to both complement the curriculum and introduce new subject areas.
