Full event details

This popular interactive session takes you on a journey exploring how the world of work has evolved. From Boomers to Zoomers and beyond, in this session we look at how work has changed over the years, along with exploring how people’s perceptions of work have varied over time. Using applied examples, we will look at emerging forms of work, the gig economy, and industry 4.0 and develop an awareness of how the future is shaping up and how you can strive and thrive in this whole new world of work.

The Discover Programme consists of subject-specific lectures and workshops aimed at Year 12 or Year 1 college students, delivered by academics that teach at the University.

These sessions are designed to both complement the curriculum and introduce new subject areas.
