Short Session Delivered at your school/college
Who is a manager? How do managers work? and why does it matter? In this purpose build, fun, and interactive session, you will get to explore the principles of management and develop an understanding of how management has evolved over the years and what it takes to be an effective manager. Using applied examples, we will look at the main components of management, see how it works in the real world, and understand how to become a modern 21st-century manager.
The Discover Programme consists of subject-specific lectures and workshops aimed at Year 12 or Year 1 college students, delivered by academics that teach at the University.
These sessions are designed to both complement the curriculum and introduce new subject areas.
