Full event details

We will look at how medicines are made, how they work and how new targets are selected. The talk will move on to consider careers in the pharmaceutical industry and related pharmacy careers, such as the degree options open to those wishing to pursue a career in pharmaceutics.

The Discover Programme consists of subject-specific lectures and workshops aimed at Year 12 or Year 1 college students, delivered by academics that teach at the University.

These sessions are designed to both complement the curriculum and introduce new subject areas.
