What’s Trending in Tourism?
In the world of tourism, things move fast! So, identifying drivers and trends is an important skill for those in this exciting industry and, of course, for aspiring Visitor Economy managers. This session considers trends and futures for the tourism, travel and hospitality industries as well as visitor motivation(s). After exploring these, the session will allow participants to consider what form these trends will take and develop their own future scenarios. The session can be adapted to reflect the participants’ own travel aspirations/bucket lists, or career aspirations, linking these to wider developments in the industry and future scenarios.
