Full event details

On the 23rd of June the School of Computing and Engineering at the University of Huddersfield are hosting an event to celebrate International Women in Engineering. We are inviting schools and members of the public to join us in this celebration.

Date: 23/06/2023
Time: 9:30am – 3:00pm
Location: University of Huddersfield

All activities throughout the day are optional so you can book onto one activity or all four, the choice is yours.

The event will consist of:

  • Campus tours
  • Discover Lecture - From raw data to actionable insights: A way to a future railway system by Rawia El Rashidy (watch on campus or online)
  • History of Laura Annie Willson talk by Anne Kirker from the Calderdale Industrial Museum
  • Research tours of the Smart House, Institute of Railway Research, and 3D Listening Room
