Full event details

As a Professor of Public Health my drive and motivation is to reduce population level health inequalities. One of my areas of interest is in breast cancer (and wider) screening programmes. In 2017 I was told I carry the breast cancer susceptibility gene, BRCA2. This lecture explores my personal reflections on undertaking breast cancer related research whilst also carrying the BRCA2 gene. What I’ve learned, and why it’s been the most rewarding research I have done.
