Girls into Electronics is a series of non-residential events that are being hosted by leading universities across the UK this summer, including University of Nottingham on Thursday 6 July 2023. The event is ideal for girls in Year 11, 12 or 13, thinking about studying Electronics, Computer Science or Engineering.
· Hear from women who are working in the Electronics industry
· Attend a sample lecture, a department tour and meet current students
· Get hands on with electronic activities e.g., microcontrollers
· Find out about rewarding careers in the Electronics industry (green energy, artificial intelligence, healthcare, consumer electronics, autonomous & electrical vehicles)

The events are being organised by the United Kingdom Electronics Skills Foundation (UKESF), and are sponsored by Apple with the exception of a small booking fee of £20 per student. UKESF aim for their courses to be accessible to all, so if the booking fee is a barrier, or if you need support for travel costs, please get in touch before booking, via [email protected].
