Join Dr Spencer Jones from the War Studies department of the University of Wolverhampton on a cutting-edge virtual battlefield tour! Presented in co-operation with Battle Guide Virtual Tours (owned by Wolverhampton War Studies alumni Dan Hill), this tour will take you into the front line of the Battle of Mons 1914 - Britain's first battle of the First World War.
This free online tour combines the very best of modern technology with the historical knowledge and passion of one of the world's leading military historians.
The tour uses drone images, historical footage, eyewitness accounts, satellite data, 3D animations and 360° images to provide a truly immersive way to explore the battlefield. This is a chance to see the First World War as you have never seen it before.
