Animation, games and VFX taster day

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Sit at our workstations for a taster session in the discipline of your choice.
• You'll have a go at industry software we teach on your chosen course: either Maya, Unreal Engine, or Toon Boom Harmony!
• Get taught by our expert tutors, as well as hear from our Studio Assistants and Student Ambassadors throughout the day.

WHICH SOFTWARE WILL I GET TO TRY?

You can select the software-based session that relates to your prefered subject area as shown below. You'll get to deep-dive into the industry software that's most relevant for your course and create something cool to add to your portfolio. You can only attend one software session during the event.

Our Unreal Engine taster is for students interested in:

• Character Creation for Animation, Games & VFX
• Game Art
• Game Design
• Technical Art for Games & VFX

Our Autodesk Maya taster is for students interested in:

• The Art of Computer Animation (3D)
• The Art of Visual Effects (VFX)

Our Toon Boom Harmony taster is for students interested in:

• The Art of Computer Animation (2D)
