Full event details

"Engineering innovation during the Industrial Revolution dominated the natural world, no matter what the cost!
By contrast Engineering today is increasingly inspired by the natural world to provide ‘better’, more sustainable solutions.
The language of Mathematics is used to translate the natural world into engineering design solutions: flocks of birds foraging for food appear to behave as a single organism to find a food source quickly, a 'better design’ than individually foraging. In this webinar, we shall translate this into engineering designs!"
