OPEN DAY TRAVEL BURSARY
We want you to be able to make an informed decision when you’re choosing where to study, and we know the best way to do that is to get out and visit. The financial cost of doing that can add up quickly though, so to help offset your visit to us, we’d like to reimburse you for some of your travel expenses.

If you live in Greater Manchester, we'll contribute £20 to the cost of your visit; for anyone coming from further afield, we'll contribute £50.

Don't worry, you won't need to provide travel receipts. You will be able to claim your travel costs after your attendance is confirmed on the day. We will provide full guidance on how to do this at the Open Day.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT THE OPEN DAY?
By coming to an Open Day you’ll get a real sense of what studying at the University of Salford is like. You’ll get to take part in course talks, learn more in Q&As with our students, go on campus tours and more. You'll also get to see accommodation, meet teaching and support staff, find out how to fund your studies, and learn about settling into student life.

Our Open Days take place across our three campuses in Salford, giving you the chance to explore our facilities in person, while getting a real feel for what student life can offer.
