Session time: Monday 27 March, 14.15-15.00

In this Biology session, Ben Garrod, Professor of Evolutionary Biology and Science Engagement at the University of East Anglia, will run an interactive skills and insight workshop for students on Biology fieldwork.

About Ben: After living across Africa and Asia and working alongside wild chimpanzees and orangutans, he completed a PhD and got ready for a career of research, but instead followed a passion to share science with as many people as possible. Now, as a successful author and award-winning BBC presenter, Ben believes that science belongs to us all and that, more than ever, the public need to feel confident in engaging with science.

Suitable for: Year 12 & 13 students (and equivalent) studying, or with a possible interest in studying, Biology and related disciplines. Student groups and individual students and teachers are very welcome.
