Open for Year 12/13s from widening participation backgrounds, programme completione makes you eligible for a grade reduction of up to three grades on your Lancaster offer.
What is Lancaster Access Programme?
Lancaster Access Programme (LAP) provides a fantastic opportunity to take part in a range of activities designed to improve your academic skills, give you a chance to experience campus life and prepare for a future studying at university.
You will join our dedicated online Lancaster University platform, allowing you to sign up to events, access a range of specialised resources and receive support from Lancaster University staff and current students.
Who is Lancaster Access Programme for?
The programme is open to students in Years 12-13 from any school or college. Participants need to meet our academic and widening participation criteria to join the programme.
What are the benefits of LAP?
Participants on the Access Programme will have dedicated contact with Lancaster University staff and ambassadors. You will also receive extra consideration for your application to Lancaster and be eligible for a grade reduction of up to three grades. Support also continues once you reach university through the Lancaster Success Programme.
