Join us for a positively disruptive walk across the city of Wolverhampton to enhance your wellbeing. We start at West Park for an exploration of Black Country Geopoetics by writer Dr R.M. Francis, who attempts to understand how humans relate to the natural world. At Wolverhampton Art Gallery you’re invited to make your own prints with artist and University of Wolverhampton’s lecturer in Fine Arts Laura Onions. The final stop is the Boundary Way Allotment Park, where we focus on climate change via an immersion tour through a soundscape and visual installation on the theme of nature Breakthroughs. The Wolverhampton-based poet Kuli Kohli and members of the local Blakenhall Writers’ group and the Punjabi Women’s Writers Group end the day with performances of environmentally-inspired poetry.
