Anonymous apps - apps that allow users to send messages to others without revealing information that might identify them (e.g, their legal name) - are incredibly popular with teens. But have you ever noticed how quickly individual apps - YOLO, NGL, Tellonym, Sarahah - rise and fall in popularity?

In this session, you'll learn why this trend has emerged. You'll also be asked to reflect on you own views and experiences of anonymous apps, and to think about how we might make them safer.
