Full event details

Aimed at year 12 students, these hands-on sessions give students the chance to become a crime scene investigator for the day. Having put on complete protective clothing, students are led around the Crime Scene House Forensic Training Facility after which they will then be asked to do an observation test on what they have seen!

This will be followed by some laboratory work to look at some techniques used in fingerprint recovery and use of pattern recognition skills to find the matching suspects. The session will end with a debrief and information about forensic science courses.

*Sessions are for half a day – you will be allocated a morning or afternoon session following your booking*
