Session time: 13.00-13.45, Tuesday 21 June

In this HE Guidance session, we will be joined by Lydia Newton, Higher Education Adviser, and Emily Moran, current UEA student and Recruitment and Outreach Intern at University of East Anglia. Lydia and Emily will run an interactive One Year to Go – Transition to University session for students looking at:

- How studying at university might vary from what you’re used to at sixth form or college.
- What extra and super-curricular activities you can be doing now to build skills and inform your next steps.
- What support is available to you to help with your finances, studies and wellbeing at university.
- Hear what it’s really like to be at university directly from a current student – from making friends and living independently to balancing studies and managing your money.

There will also be plenty of time for you to ask questions.

Our events are designed so that a group of students can take part from a classroom or students and teachers can take part as individuals, either from school or from home.
