Full event details

Whether you’re thinking of starting university in 2022, 2023 / beyond, or supporting those making their university decisions (parents, carers, school practitioners etc) - this webinar will be tremendously useful for you. We’ll help you (or the people you're supporting) to make fantastic decisions with an evening of university guidance sessions alongside a live Q&A.

*Who will be speaking?*
The webinar will be hosted by UniTasterDays.com and provide an opportunity to watch presentations on key university guidance topics from Bangor University, Cardiff Metropolitan University, the University of South Wales, the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Wrexham Glyndwr University and Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol.

Delivered as a webinar, only the UniTasterDays event host and university event speakers will be visible to participants during the event. You will not need a webcam or a microphone.

There will be a typed Q&A running throughout so you can ask the expert representatives any question you like about your higher education opportunities. A keyboard would therefore be handy!

*What to expect during the webinar?*
You'll hear seven short 10 minute presentations with information on:

- Why you may wish to consider university participation
- How to research your university opportunities
- How to prepare for your university application
- Top tips when writing personal statements
- A guide to student finance
- Mental health and resilience
- And for Welsh speaking students, an optional session at the end of the schedule from Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol on - Astudio drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg neu'n ddwyieithog / Studying through the medium of Welsh or bilingually (note – all other sessions will be delivered in English).
