English and Sociology Taster Day

The English and Sociology Taster day will give you an in-depth exposure to the worlds of English, Literature and Sociology. This is a great opportunity to hear from speakers from both schools, covering interesting topics such as forensic linguistics and investigations. The event will also focus on developing an understanding of the three main literary genres (prose, poetry and drama). This is also a great chance to go on a tour of the campus and experience all it has to offer. Attending this event is a great way to really feel what it’s like to thrive as a University student at Aston, meeting students, staff and seeing our city-centre campus.
