We will explore how lockdown measures have impacted on domestic abuse for victims as incidents and reports have increased and because of the focus on ‘staying at home’ the issue of abuse in the home has been propelled more into the public gaze.

We will also look at definitions of DA, types of abuse, relevant legislation and policies and highlight some recent research by Womens Aid, Mankind and Stonewall charities.
