Full event details

Do you love playing sport? No matter what level you play at, or if you just want to play for fun, you’ll find a sport for you at university.

Solent students compete in a wide range of sports each year, including football, cricket, basketball, sailing, American football, wheelchair rugby, hockey, squash and many more. Our 30-plus sports clubs regularly compete in BUCS competitions throughout the year.

If it is recreational sport you are after there are many different sports, fitness classes and gym memberships available where you can try something new, meet new people, keep fit and have fun!!!

If you are an athlete or sports star with outstanding ability who competes at national or international level, there is the opportunity to enrol on the performance sports programme which means you can apply for a sports Scholarship at our High Performance Academy (HPA).

Our performance sport programme supports talented athletes throughout their time at university. The programme is moulded around your sporting talent and academic potential, with an expert team on hand to help you throughout.

This webinar will involve members of staff from our Solent Sport department who can give more information on sport at university and how you can succeed and make the most of the opportunities available.
