Debating the linguistic pitfalls of the Christmas Dinner table. The Department of English, Media and Culture warmly invite you to their festive Humanities Showcase. Featuring taster lectures and interactive sessions across all of our courses, this afternoon of events will give you a flavour of our subjects at degree level, provide you with an opportunity to speak to our academic staff, and get you thinking about the varied and sometimes surprising ways winter festivities find their way into culture.
