This year has been a little different so we have decided to run our annual Taster Week a little differently too. Taster Week 2021 will run virtually so that students can get a flavour of what Essex has to offer from the comfort of their own home or classroom. The event will run over 3 days to reflect each of our three faculties at our campuses.

5 July: Humanities
(Literature, Creative Writing, Film Studies, Drama, History, Philosophy, Liberal Arts, Global Studies, Art History, Law, Human Rights, Hospitality and Events Management)

6 July: Social Sciences
(Essex Business School, Criminology, International Relations, Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies, Sociology, Languages and Linguistics, Politics, Economics)

7 July: Health and Human Sciences
(Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Sports and Exercise Science, Sports Performance and Coaching, Sports Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Microbiology/Human Biology, Marine Biology)

The days will include academic sessions, as well as the opportunity to speak to staff and students, to help prepare students in making informed university choices and a great application.

All events are open to students attending as individuals or to school groups, and multiple days may be booked.
