Superpower Challenge:

What would your superpower be if you had one? How could you harness the superpowers of a whole team to create a solution to a global challenge? This solution focused workshop takes students through the process of collective design thinking to create an awesome business offer for the world!

Time needed: this workshop can be adapted for delivery over 1 hour, 2 hours or 3 hours.

Game Storming Ideation Challenge:

Entrepreneurs have to be flexible to adapt to changing markets and clients’ needs. In this time bound workshop, students will work collaboratively to address a client challenge, using research skills to gather information that they can analyse and turn into a range of solutions which they will present back to your client. Can their team seal the deal?

Time needed: this workshop can be adapted for delivery over half a day or a day.

Transitions:

Moving from school to university can be both exciting and a little scary. Our Transitions programme supports students over the period of 4 sessions to understand what to expect when becoming a university student.

Facilitated by both staff and students from the Business Enterprise Development programmes at Aston University, the programme will cover:

> Expectations – what should your students expect when they join a university programme? What is it like to be a first year student in a new university setting?

> Self-awareness – what are your students’ strengths and areas of development when it comes to working alone and with others?

> Confidence and resilience – supporting your students to speak confidently about themselves, their ambitions and their learning. Developing your students’ understanding of resilience and how to motivate themselves and others.

Time needed: this programme requires 4 sessions but can be adapted for 1 hour or 2 hours per session. Sessions can be spread out over a number of weeks or can be condensed into a shorter time frame.
