hat makes something a crime? How should someone who is guilty of a crime be punished? How does the court system work? These elements of criminal law and the criminal justice system will be covered in this interactive Masterclass, delivered by the University of Birmingham’s Streetlaw team.

Students will also consider areas of criminal law that are particularly relevant to teenagers, such as police stop and search powers and the notion of joint enterprise.

Additional Information: Individual bookings can be made by students in Year 12 and 13. Please note you may not be allocated all the places you request depending on availability.

Sessions will run from 13:00 - 15:00
