Explore Operating Department Practice

Are you interested in surgery? Have you ever thought about being the face behind the mask? Come to our explore Operating Department Practice day where you can learn about the career you have probably never heard of, take part in mini masterclasses including gloving & gowning, airway management, teamwork (escape room) & of course compete to get the highest score on our giant operation game.


Our new Explore series offers students in years 11, 12 and 13 a taste of degree level study on campus.
With many events offering the chance to experience several different workshops over the course of one day, this unique opportunity encourages students to broaden their understanding of the different courses available in each area.
