This session will highlight the modern advances in engineering in the second decade of the 21st Century. We will highlight the importance of engineering and how it helps to sustain and grow the local, national and the global economy. Students will have the opportunity to undertake an interactive session in the engineering workshop and explore different aspects of engineering from conceptual design, prototyping and manufacturing through to volume production. They can also find out more about the Formula Student race car that BCU students design and manufacture from scratch in less than six months.
