Full event details

Following an introduction to the University and the EAS department, students will participate in a number of chemistry and chemical engineering practicals including producing a polymer gel from household products and a one-step preparation of indigo, a blue pigment used to stain blue jeans. This session will show how exciting and interesting chemistry and chemical engineering are and how these subjects affect our quality of life. The event is followed by an optional campus tour led by Aston Student Ambassadors.
