This is a one hour long laboratory-based practical session to underpin the science of how nitrates (found in beetroot juice) may enhance sports performance. Students will have an opportunity to get hands on and test how this ergogenic aid may improve endurance performance during cycling.

This masterclass will take place in our newly refurbished City South Campus.
