Full event details

Participants can try their hand at textile techniques to make their own materials while hearing about study and career options from both students and staff from the Textile Design course. Introducing digital pattern-making using the latest equipment and software. A bite-size view into garment technology and creative pattern cutting, students will create a digital pattern using IDIGIT photography software, manipulate it using Gerber technology and receive a printed pattern to take home at the end of the day.

This event is suitable for a group of 30 Year 12/13 students, and will be hosted at Birmingham City University's City Centre Campus.
The day is currently scheduled to run from 11am-4pm.
