Being a trainee teacher within our Primary Centre gives you the opportunity to develop the skills, qualities and experiences that will enable you to flourish as a successful primary school teacher.

Join us for a bespoke event organised for potential applicants. You will have the opportunity to spend some time at the University, learning about the benefits of higher education and more specifically, Primary Teacher Training.

The morning will include:
• A presentation outlining the Primary Undergraduate Teacher Training programme
• A talk from current trainee teachers enrolled on the programme
• Taster workshops– find out what it is like to be a trainee teacher
• Advice about writing your personal statement
• Tours of the campus

Tutors and trainee teachers will be on hand to give you a real insight into what it is like training to be a teacher at the University of Worcester. Find out about placements, course assessment and student life. You will also experience what it is like to be part of a seminar session led by one of our expert subject tutors where you will participate in an interactive session to find out what it is like to be a trainee teacher at the University of Worcester.
This taster event is for those wanting to find out a little more about life as a trainee teacher at the University of Worcester.
