This masterclass will explore our enthusiasm surrounding industrial problems and the exciting ways in which Mathematics equations and formulas can translate to real life situations. In particular, we will explore the role of Mathematics in industry. The masterclass will also highlight the opportunities available to mathematicians within the field of mathematics for industry and the varied careers that students could pursue after their current studies. We will do this by engaging with several case studies drawn from our own experience in tackling mathematical problems from industry.
