Our masterclasses are designed to allow learners to experience what learning is like at a selective Russell Group university. Most masterclasses are two hours long and are normally held in the Autumn Term between 1.00–3.00pm on a Wednesday afternoon.

This interactive game show/workshop explores the diversity of life in the human microbiome and our intimate and mutually beneficial relationship with our nearest and dearest co-habitants, both outside and inside. We also touch on what happens when that relationship breaks down, when good microbes turn bad.
