Paul is dead, his lifeless body lying in a pool of blood. The murder weapon, a large rusty knife, was easy enough to find, protruding, as it did, from his back.
The murderer must have worn gloves, as no fingerprints could be found, but the murderer made one fatal mistake. A few strands of hair were found in Paul’s deathly grip. "He must have torn them out in the struggle" said Inspector Sanderson, "get them to the lab for analysis Jim and get me a sandwich, murders always make me hungry".

That's where you come in; we have six suspects, but no one to do the DNA fingerprinting. We need you to extract the DNA from the sample, produce the DNA fingerprint and name the guilty party.

Oh and Inspector Sanderson is not a patient woman, she needs it in three hours
In this session we will also look at the development of DNA fingerprinting, its uses and some of the potential ‘dangers’.

Advice will also be given on applying for Biomedical Science, Healthcare Science, Medicine, Pharmacy, Optometry etc.
