Full Event Details:

Conferences and visits Birmingham City University is running a series of conferences and visits for schools and colleges for 2012. Visiting the University is an excellent opportunity for pupils to experience the University environment. We are offering a number of dates, with specific programmes designed for pupils from Year 9 through to Year 13. We tailor the conferences (post-16) and visits (pre-16) to meet the needs of each particular year group, for example, raising aspirations with younger pupils or planning entry to Higher Education with older years.

We offer a range of services to schools and colleges, from group bookings for open days to workshops and training opportunities for staff. Providing activities for students from Year 7 right the way through to Year 13, we are particularly proud of our pre-16 visit days and post-16 events where our student ambassadors play a vital part in acting as role models to their younger peers. We also provide a number of masterclasses for a wide range of our subject areas; giving your learners a hands-on insight into subjects they may consider studying at university.
